pretty sad!

Well I have changed my comment settings so that I will approve all comments made before they are posted for all the world to see. I am sad that I have to do this, but I had some really disgusting comments on my last post by a stranger and I will not give then an audience. So I leave you tonight with a happy picture of my best friend Jake.

Pancake Jake ~ that is one of my favorite pictures of him! Sorry to hear you had such negativity crop up in your comments. Moderating them after something like that is understandable.

Delighted to see such progress Linda.
Blown away that Jake would pose before gobbling; what a wonderful boy he is. This picture says it all; what a sweetheart!

Do you get a full screen for these comments as I do? I thought you'd just keep your pop-up window.

LOL! that is an old picture of Jake...... I threw out a pancake for the birds and he couldn't stand it and tried to sneak it into the house. He was very happy with himself......... I just followed the instructions for the new format and I guess that the pop-up window is gone. I might go back to it one day if I feel safe from lunatic's rantings............ always good hearing from you!

Hi There Dark Jewel.........I know! I don't go to LJ anymore and that's were we talked. LJ has gotten to be a negative place for me lately so I avoid it. Glad to see you here though.......... have a great day! xxoo

I'm sorry I'm seeing this so late! I moved over to wordpress and can't figure out how to get all my blogs together in one place to read. That's awful that someone left you nasty comments!! What is wrong with people??? Ugh, that makes me so angry! I hope you're doing well otherwise. Hugs to you and your adorable Jake! xox Renee

Hi Falacedar, I am going to have to figure out how to follow you at your new place. I miss seeing you............. yes, I got a very weird post, not really aimee at me, just a bunch of crazy nasty stuff. Sort of the ramblings of a crazy person. not much made sense, just alot of filth........... so this will be the way things are for now. I guess that it happens sooner or later.

Sorry to hear you had some bad comments. I have had a fair few too, I find it really odd that people have nothing better to do. Oh well it is their sad life, i bet they have no friends! xxxx

thanks Moon to Moon, It really was very odd, almost not directed at my post but just a long, almost pornographic rant that made no sense. It reminded me of the days when I worked in the state psychiatric hospital, sort of schizophrenic gibberish!

I am so very sorry you had a negative Blog experience. I am so thankful I've only had one in the year I've been Blogging and refused to engage either... there are troubled & tortured Souls out there and yes, it is very sad. I've had some Blog Friends say its difficult to leave comments on my Blog at times due to the word verification, but like you, I'd rather have a filter that perhaps will keep trolls and the negative energies at bay! *Winks* Thankfully for every one negative person out there I've experienced thousands of wonderful peeps with such positive energy & feeling the Love has been so enriching and therapuetic.

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian

yes, Dawn. i think that this was probably an isolated comment for me, and thankfully for me the only one of it's kind for me ever. All of the people I have met here are wonderful and really just want to share beauty. That's why I will have my comments like this for awhile. I figure that if I don't give that "person" an audience, they won't comment again.
