new treasures

Two parcels from England have arrived these past days and they were full of beautiful art from Cathy Cullis. There is the "Pointy Hat Chap" and he is just so whimsical, he always puts a smile on your face. There is also some stitched work (embroidered) and this one has some vintage mother of pearl buttons and they always intrigue me. There is also some beautiful original art work. I love the bright shock of red in this one. I am always happy to be able to add some of Cathy's art to my collection, now to rearrange things to make a nice display!  see her art on etsy........... http://www.etsy.com/shop/cathycullishttp://www.etsy.com/shop/cathycullis

Thanks! I love Cathy's work and decided that I would treat myself, it is early Christmas for me. The machine embroidery really amazes me!

Thank you Lorraine, I agree and that is one more reason that it touches my heart.

It is amazing how she "sketches" with thread in this way. Great additions to your collection!

I find it totally amazing too, especially on her large pieces.
