dolly

I was inspired to post Dolly here after seeing an acquaintance post her Raggedy Ann doll on Flickr. I found Dolly in an antique shop when I was around 4 years old or so. My Mom and Dad always went antiquing on Saturdays and Sundays. I learned from an early age to love it. Well I remember picking her up and loving her and next thing I know Dad bought her for me and she came home. She was very vintage then and I am now 51. I wish that I knew her story, who made her and when, and especially what other little girl loved her. Well Dolly is still loved!

Oh, she's so sweet! I love old fabric dolls. I still have a rag doll I was given when I was about 4 years old, I should take her picture and post it, too. Your kitty looks very comfy there beside your dollie. :)

There are so many stories untold in antique stores, aren't there. I am glad you still have that little dolly and your cat just adds to that first photo...cats can be from any era...
